Beta-Alanine
Adding beta-alanine to your training regimen can increase endurance by up to 15% during high-intensity efforts lasting between 60 seconds and 10 minutes. This amino acid is a precursor to carnosine – a dipeptide that accumulates in muscles and acts as a buffer against lactic acid. By doing so, beta-alanine delays the onset of muscle fatigue, allowing for longer and more intense workouts.
Beta-alanine intake is particularly beneficial for athletes engaged in activities such as CrossFit, cycling, middle-distance running, high-repetition strength training, and combat sports. Regular supplementation leads to increased muscle carnosine levels, which translates into greater power and shorter recovery times between sets.

What does Beta-Alanine do?
Beta-alanine is an amino acid that helps the body produce carnosine. Carnosine acts as a buffer in muscles. It reduces lactic acid buildup during intense workouts. This allows you to train longer and harder, especially during efforts lasting between 1 and 4 minutes.
Dosage and when to take it
I recommend 3 to 5 grams of beta-alanine daily. You can split it into several doses, for example, 2-3 times throughout the day. The most important thing is to take it regularly to saturate your muscles. Full saturation is achieved in about 4 weeks. That's when you start to feel the greatest effect. You can mix it with water or another beverage.
What I pay attention to when choosing
For me, the quality of the raw material is the most important. I look for pure beta-alanine, without fillers or other impurities. Some supplements use cheaper forms that may not be as effective. I always check for purity certificates. I prefer brands that have a proven origin of raw materials. Over the years, I have tried many products. I have been working with AllMax Nutrition since 2014 and I know they can be trusted. 7Nutrition also offers good beta-alanine; I have been supplying it since 2018.
Sometimes clients come and say they feel tingling. This is normal. It's called paresthesia and it's harmless. It can be reduced by splitting the dose into smaller intakes.
Who is it suitable for?
Beta-alanine is ideal for athletes who perform intense, repetitive efforts. Such as sprinters, fighters, footballers. People who train with weights and do many sets. If you train 4 times a week, you will definitely feel a difference. Especially if you aim to improve your endurance in short to medium intervals.
