Kettlebells
A kettlebell is a cast-iron weight with a handle, used for dynamic ballistic movements — swing, snatch, clean&jerk. Standard competition kettlebells according to IKMF specifications are 35 cm high with a 33 mm handle, regardless of whether they weigh 8 kg or 48 kg, which allows for consistent technique during progression.
In this category, you will find cast iron and rubberized kettlebells from 4 to 48 kg — competition (flat base, color-coded by weight) and classic (black cast iron with increasing size). For home training, 8, 12, and 16 kg are typically used for women, and 16, 20, 24 kg for men. All products have anti-corrosion coating and are tested for Olympic weightlifting.

Kettlebells and dumbbells are essential tools for strength training and functional fitness. They offer an effective way to develop strength, endurance, and flexibility. The right choice is important for safety and results.
How to choose
- Weight: For beginner men, a 12-16 kg kettlebell is recommended, for women 8-12 kg. Gradually increase the weight.
- Material: Cast iron is standard, offering durability. Steel competition kettlebells have a unified size for better technique in competitive movements.
- Handle: It should be smooth, without sharp edges, to prevent hand chafing. The diameter varies but is usually between 33-38 mm.
- Coating: Enamel, powder coating, or vinyl – affects grip and durability.
Common mistakes
- Choosing too heavy a kettlebell: Leads to poor form and risk of injury. Start with a lighter weight and perfect your technique.
- Neglecting warm-up: Insufficient body preparation before weight training can lead to strains and injuries.
- Incorrect technique: Exercises like the kettlebell swing require specific technique that must be mastered to avoid back problems.
- Lack of variety: Using only one type of exercise limits muscle development. Combine different movements.
