CLA

Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is a natural fatty acid found primarily in the meat of ruminant animals and dairy products. Daily intake of 3-4 grams of CLA can help reduce body fat and increase lean muscle mass. The mechanism of action involves modulating enzymes involved in fat metabolism, such as lipoprotein lipase and acetyl-CoA carboxylase, as well as increasing adipocyte apoptosis.

My observations from 15 years of practice show that optimal results are achieved when CLA is combined with regular physical activity and a caloric deficit. The supplement is particularly effective for people who have already started a weight loss process and are looking for additional support for body recomposition. Intake is usually divided into 2-3 doses throughout the day, with food, to improve absorption and minimize potential gastrointestinal discomfort.
