People have long used herbs for strength, tone, and to cope with stress. Today, science confirms much of this ancient knowledge. It is no coincidence that these herbs have survived for so long.

What for what

Ashwagandha is one of the most popular herbs for stress reduction. I personally find it very helpful when I'm under pressure. I usually recommend 300-500 mg per day, standardized extract, preferably before bed. Rhodiola, on the other hand, provides energy and improves focus without being a stimulant. When clients come and complain of fatigue, especially during the winter months, I often explain rhodiola to them. A dose of 200-300 mg in the morning is sufficient. Ginseng is a classic for general tone and immune system. Most people know about it. Most formulas are 100-200 mg, taken in the morning. For men looking for libido and testosterone support, Tongkat Ali and Tribulus terrestris are good options. Tongkat Ali, for example, is effective in doses of 200-400 mg. I personally have seen good results with it. Tribulus, standardized to 60-90% saponins, in a dose of 500-1000 mg daily, is also very sought after, especially by older men or those who train very intensively, for example 4 times a week.
